Terms and Conditions

1. Delivery Timescales

Delivery times vary depending on the product:

  • Small items (taps, showers, waste kits, and metal bathroom accessories): 2–5 working days
  • Larger items (baths, shower enclosures, furniture): 5–15 working days
  • Painted Baths: 2-4 weeks

Specific delivery timescales for each product are provided in the product description. All delivery times are subject to stock availability. You will receive an email confirmation with estimated delivery timescales, and for larger items, we will contact you by phone to confirm delivery arrangements.

If you have urgent deadlines, please contact us before placing your order to confirm delivery times. We strongly advise that you do not book a plumber or installer until your items have arrived and been checked.


2. Multiple Deliveries

To ensure the most cost-effective delivery, we may send your items in separate shipments. For example, if you order a bath and taps, the taps may arrive first in a separate consignment. Your order confirmation will provide details of the delivery schedule.


3. Delivery Costs

  • Orders under £999: A delivery charge applies unless stated otherwise.
  • Orders over £999: Free delivery to mainland UK, except for certain areas.
  • Additional delivery charges may apply:
    • Scotland (north of Edinburgh/Glasgow) & South West England: £25
    • Postal area IV: £70
    • Postal area KW: £90

We reserve the right to decline an order if delivery costs are prohibitively high due to external factors beyond our control.


4. Delivery of Heavy & Bulky Goods

Larger items, such as baths and shower enclosures, are delivered on pallets to kerbside only.

  • You are responsible for moving the goods inside from the public access point.
  • Local deliveries (Leeds area): We use a long-wheelbase van, and assistance may be required for unloading.
  • All deliveries are to ground floor only.

5. Receiving & Checking Deliveries

You must fully unwrap and inspect all items for damage or missing parts within 48 hours of delivery.

  • For large items (e.g., baths): Check for visible damage before signing the delivery note.
  • If you sign for the goods, you are accepting that they arrived in good condition. Marking the note as “unchecked” does not change this.
  • If the driver refuses to wait for an inspection, refuse the delivery and notify us immediately at 07535 167 912 or sales@classicalbaths.co.uk.
  • Any damage, defects, or shortages must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.

6. Damaged or Defective Goods

If you receive damaged or defective goods, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
At our discretion, we will:

  • Repair or replace the faulty item
  • Provide a refund for the affected product

This does not affect your statutory rights.


7. Liability

Classical Baths is not liable for any:

  • Loss, inconvenience, or indirect/consequential damages
  • Costs incurred due to delays, including plumber/fitter costs
  • Issues caused by factors outside our control

8. Pricing

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on our website. If an error occurs, we are not obligated to fulfil an order at an incorrect price.

All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.


9. Payment & Ownership of Goods

Ownership of goods remains with Classical Baths until full payment is received.


10. UK Returns & Cancellations

  • Returns are accepted only if the item is in original packaging and in unused condition.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods.
  • Do not write on product packaging—use an additional outer layer for returns.
  • A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-stocked items returned to our suppliers.
  • Carriage costs are non-refundable, even if the original delivery was free.

Return carriage charges:

  • Brassware (taps, showers, waste kits, towel warmers): £10
  • Ceramic items & mirrors: £30
  • Baths & large furniture: £50

If a special delivery charge was applied (e.g., for fragile goods or deliveries to Scotland), this is in addition to the above fees.

If a discount was applied to your order, refunds will be adjusted proportionally.


11. Cancellations

To cancel an order, you must inform us by email or phone within 7 working days from the day after receiving the goods.

After this period, we are under no legal obligation to accept cancellations, but we always aim to resolve issues fairly.


12. Custom Orders

Orders for customised products (e.g., painted baths, basins, or furniture) cannot be cancelled once customisation work has started.


13. Trade Sales

  • Trade order returns & cancellations incur a 20% restocking fee.
  • Custom pieces for trade customers cannot be cancelled or returned.

14. Guarantees

All product guarantees are manufacturer guarantees. Classical Baths does not provide additional warranties.

  • If a manufacturer ceases trading, the guarantee is no longer valid.

15. Privacy Policy & Data Protection

  • We store your information securely and do not share it with third parties.

16. Cookies & Technology

  • We do not store personal information on cookies.
  • Any cookies used are temporary and do not persist beyond a single browsing session.
